How I found my home away from home

Nabin is a postgraduate student from Nepal starting a Master of Social Work at Western Sydney University.

About Nabin

After being warmly welcomed by Sydney’s Nepalese community when Nabin moved here, he was encouraged to study in NSW. Completing a Bachelor of Tourism Management gave him valuable insights into Indigenous Australian culture, social sciences and the tourism industry.

Nabin credits his education as invaluable to his career, making a difference for refugees and migrant communities in Australia and Nepal. The highlight of studying in NSW was exploring Orange, a regional city in Regional NSW. His time in its beautiful landscapes felt like returning home to Nepal.
